The Hannasisters are three sisters, Mary, Nuala and Breige from Maghery, Co. Armagh. Raised in the traditional they bring an “otherwordly” aura to a range of their own compositions as well as covers of other artists.

On Monday 13th February the Hanna Sisters release a new two track EP – ‘A Prayer to Heaven’. The title track is a song which combines the emotion, vocal harmonies and superb musicianship the Hannasisters bring to all their recordings. 

The second track is a rendition of the haunting Irish air – fittingly enough for a three piece sister act- Women of Ireland (Mna na hEireann).

The Hanna Sisters will be performing a one-off concert in the Marketplace Theatre, Armagh. Their show, which has toured Europe extensively, comprises an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary folk and pop.

Accomplished musicians all, they blend their own unique vocal harmonies, haunting violin and whistle playing into an uplifting nights entertainment. Just the thing for a February night!
